Improvements to the existing Holmes Community College football field in Goodman, Mississippi included extensive drainage improvements, a new artificial turf field, demolition of the existing asphalt track, and new concrete flatwork. The bulk of the civil engineering scope centered around re-grading the playing field and adjacent areas for improved drainage in preparation for receipt of new artificial turf surfacing and an overhaul of the existing deficient storm drainage system surrounding the field. We provided construction documents for the field improvements including demolition, erosion control, site layout, and grading and drainage.
