Smithers Engineers + Consultants, LLC is excited to announce the promotion of Will Dendinger to Principal.

Will has served as the Director of Civil Engineering Services since the formation of the company in 2020. He will continue to lead our civil engineering team into the future as we continue to work on meaningful projects in the metro area and throughout the state of Mississippi.

Will is highly regarded as a civil engineer for his ability to creatively solve difficult problems, provide detailed work, and effectively communicate with clients and owners. He excels in bringing the client’s vison into the project while providing cost effective solutions to each challenge.

Will has over 15 years of experience in the civil engineering industry with the last 11 years being in the Jackson area. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including land development projects, athletic facility projects, roadway projects, and utility projects. Examples of projects that he has designed and managed while at Smithers Engineers include the Humphrey Coliseum Renovations at Mississippi State University, Harris Rebar Facility in Flowood, Mississippi Capitol Grounds Site Improvements, Fondren Parking Garage in Jackson, MSH Forensics Facility, Lakeview Drive Relocation at Mississippi State University, and numerous elementary and high schools in the central Mississippi area.

Will is involved in the community both professionally and personally, formerly serving as president of the Jackson chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Jackson and has coached youth soccer in the Jackson area for the past several years.
