UTILITIES

Smithers Engineers provides civil engineering design services for design of utilities. Many of our site development projects include a utility component, but sometimes the project is centered around the installation of new utilities or the relocation of existing utilities. Our utility design work is often related to water and sanitary sewer, while coordinating with other engineering disciplines to accommodate the electrical, communications, and gas utility design and construction. When working on new building and site development projects, our scope with respect to utilities often involves the design of new utility service lines from the point of connection, through and around the site, to serve the new or existing facility as required.
